Sphincterotomies: Pure-cut increases bleeding risk, coagulation current increases risk of post-ERCP pancreatitis. So why not mixed-current ? pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17643701/ SRMA of 4 trials: Pancreatitis: Similar rates Bleeding: Pure 37.3% vs mixed 12.2% but 28.9% mild bleeding !
