Our comrades from ACP Illinois spent 10 hours removing trash and dangerous debris between Montrose and Foster beach on the shore of Lake Michigan, clearing a total area of the 1.5 miles. Thanks to their efforts, this area is now safe for families to enjoy.

This week, our chapter dedicated a day to cleaning and picking up trash between Montrose and Foster. In 10 hours, we collected 10 bags of waste, removing hazardous materials and making the beachfront and park safer for families.

Our chapter gathered together at a neighborhood block party in Rosemont! We offered a free house music set and shared free home-grown, homemade pickles, sauerkraut, and jams with the whole block. Building community, one beat, one jar and one act of community service at a time.
