And just like that I'm signed off down to Milford Haven - and what a stunning 117 miles it is. These units are quickly becoming faithful workhorses and I look forward to working them in years to come. Now to explore the lands east of Cardiff!

Getting all the new stock in this week. The Cross-City's new fleet this time and I'm loving the air-con. These are proper fridges. They feel very premium and you can tell they'll swallow people up. Seems that the Aventra platform has been used well here.

There's something very endearing about a good old-fashioned newsstand at a railway station. It may be a modern installation without much character in itself but, in an era of self-service, it's lovely to have something centred around human interaction.
