Quite a productive day!! I absolutely love drawing animals! This I only in my little A5 sketchbook so not on the quality paper I do my commissions on! Hope you like it!

Another great tournament watched with my great friend Griet Viaene ! The only games we missed were the one's that were played at the same time! Some outstanding games, lots of chat, lots of laughs, commiserations but most of all friendship! Thank you my friend ❤

So this is what the drawing of the lily & the trial of the mandala were for. Yes I've used a stencil for the mandala to spare the time of drawing one. I'm using my Inktense pencils, more about them in the next post cos there's not enough space here!

Ok so Inktense pencils work the same as watercolour pencils EXCEPT that they are bolder more vibrant colours like acrylic paints. This is a little swatch of me deciding what colours I want to use with the outcome of water being added.

Today's progress so far. The 2nd photo shows the bottom lily without water added, the top lily with water added.

Not doing any more this evening

I don't think that I've ever mentioned this before but if I don't want any unsightly pencil marks or or indentations from erasing lines I'll do my initial sketch on a piece of cheapy paper then trace and transfer it to the good paper.

Started a little mixed media piece yesterday. Got something else that needs doing today so no more this weekend.
