2 of the 3 states sharing their open enrollment participation info are AZ and FL. Each is chock full of other school choice options. And yet, families consistently choose open enrollment at a same frequency to other forms of #schoolchoice. School choice should be a "both and."

Over the last few days GeorgiaCAN has been in the field signing up new parents at back to school events. I think the best part is hearing from advocates who shared they love the work we’re leading and impact it’s had on them. This is why I do the work I do.

Critics of #schoolchoice often base their opposition on ideology rather than considering its practical benefits for disadvantaged families. Read more in the Op-Ed published by AZ Capitol Times (State Affairs Arizona), written by our own Krissia Spivey. azcapitoltimes.com/news/2024/09/0…

Earlier this summer, I visited the Flight 93 memorial in Pennsylvania. It takes a uniquely American type of courage to sacrifice your life to protect others. On this anniversary of 9/11, God Bless everyone we lost and the first responders who answered the call.

If you haven't read this piece by my colleague, Krissia Spivey, please do. This is the type of #schoolchoice messaging –– logical, rational, factual –– that helps move folks who are undecided or confused about an issue we all care about. azcapitoltimes.com/news/2024/09/0…
