Every time I create a new project I tell myself I really should create a template for all of this boilerplate, and never get around it it. Well I finally did it. It's very opinionated and specific to me, but maybe it can inspire you to create one too. github.com/ascorbic/libraโ€ฆ

I'm obviously excited for my feature, but it's only one of several cool new things coming in Astro 4.14. It's our biggest release in, oh, a maybe a month? (We do ship cool stuff quite often I guess)

If you: - want to try out shiny new stuff - want to see if you can now build a massive site that was too slow before - want to start building content loaders for Astro, or - miss the good bits of Gatsby ...then take a look at the experimental Content Layer API in Astro 4.14

Astro 4.15 has a breaking change to the content layer loader API. If you've built a loader that uses "settings", you'll need to make a small change in your code. github.com/withastro/astrโ€ฆ

I've been trying out the new Cloudinary Astro SDK and it's really great to work with. It is a bit like a crossover episode for stuff I've worked on though: an Astro component based on Unpic, plus a shiny new loader for the Astro content layer.
