These post-halving blocks casually collecting >20 BTC in fees 🤯

Mixed feelings about this high fee environment. Not being able to send a transaction for less than $30 effectively freezes the network for most people, but miners like my employer are making bank. At least it’s good to see a lot of movement, particularly out of degen’s pockets.

I’d like to know if/when degens start buying bitcoin to pay the fees on their runes txns because this would mean two bullish things; 1) more demand pressure and 2) they’ve frittered away most of their stack and are rekt.

I saw the new 1099-DA draft the day of the halving and it almost harshed my mellow. Wallet providers should not and cannot be considered brokers with reporting requirements to the IRS. Professionals in Bitcoin and crypto should band together to ensure this gets fixed.
