Last Wednesday we completed our 5th Hood 2 Hood Run in West Philadelphia. We left from Haddington recreation center and made our presents known in some of the highest Gun Violence parts of the area. The community embraced our movement every step of the way. #MilesUpGunsDown

Today we ran our annual Christmas Eve Ugly Sweater Fun Run. We had a great turnout despite the frigid temperatures. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone 💪🏾🥶🎄🎅🏾

We kicked off 2023 with our 7th annual Kwanza 5 Miler, New Year’s Day Run. We had a decent turnout with brothers coming from far as Atlantic City, New Jersey. We also got to fellowship with other runners. Sending love & wishing everyone a healthy and prosperous New Year 💪🏾🎆🖤

Today we hosted our 2nd annual Sneaker Drive. As a collective effort we managed to give out over 100 pairs of running shoes, socks, sandwiches and waters to those in need. We will continue the honor the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr 🫶🏾

Yesterday evening we kicked off Black History Month strong. We ran our signature and scenic route into center city. It was a must that we stop at the Octavious V. Catto Memorial for group photos and to reflect on his legacy!!#BlackHistoryMonth

Last night we lost our brother Chris Fitzgerald who was a Temple University Police Officer. Chris was also one the founding members of the Philadelphia Hood 2 Hood Run Series. Which is a collab between BMR PHL & Swagga House Run Club focused on Stopping Gun Violence citywide 🕊️
