I have not yet fully recovered, but it has been a great pleasure to share ideas, discussions and a few beers in #Bourdieu2023 of BSA Bourdieu with what, for me, are the most important academics in sociology of education at the moment.

Past week, we organised the first BSA Bourdieu Conference after the COVID pandemic. I am still processing all the learnings and emotions but I want to express my public thanks to the more than 120 delegates and keynotes who shared these days with us. Go thread🧵👇 #Bourdieu2023

First, a massive thanks to #AgnèsVanZanten and #DianeReay for delighting us with the opening and closing keynotes of the Conference. You are an academic and personal example for all of us to follow and I am proud to learn from you every day !

Second, very grateful to Claire Maxwell, 🏳️‍🌈A Stich, Dr_BrownStew, Prof Nicola Ingram, Sam Friedman & #LouiseArcher who participated as keynote panelists of the Conference. They have taught us to broaden the horizons of the sociological analysis through Bourdieusian lenses 😍

Third, to the convenors of the BSA Bourdieu: Dr Ruby Juanita Brooks Marta Curran Sol Gamsu @SonjaKosunen Flora Petrik 🏳️‍🌈A Stich Dr_BrownStew #RachelStenhouse for making this group a privileged space within academia. May this Conference be just the first of many more shared events!

Fourth, to the more than 120 delegates who presented their papers and symposia at this Conference. Thank you very much for your academic contributions and for your kindness. I am proud to be part of this community with you!!
