It was an honor to welcome Denys Yaroslavskyi, Commander of a Reconnaissance Unit in the Ukrainian military to Cincinnati and City Hall as a part of our Kharkiv Sister City Program. Commender Yaroslavskyi is serving on the front lines protecting our Sister City.

With the HomeSafe Tax Relief program going live yesterday, we discussed in todays Task Force meeting an outreach strategy with DCED. In addition, we talked through federal funding opportunities for energy efficiency to help homeowners reduce energy burden.

Service improvements go into effect on Sunday, August 11th. This includes the launch of our NEW ROUTE 61 GALBRAITH ROAD CROSSTOWN ROUTE providing seamless connections seven days a week!

The Property Tax Taskforce has continued to meet to discuss various strategies for alleviating the burden of property taxes on struggling homeowners. Today, we were joined by State Senator Blessing, who contributed valuable insights on state level property tax reform.

We had a great time this morning on the Mill Creek with Cincinnati OES Mill Creek Alliance. Big thanks to Mill Creek Alliance for setting this up. We are very optimistic about what the future holds for the creek!

Appreciated the opportunity to talk with the Madisonville community council this evening about pedestrian safety, the Green (energy efficiency) savings initiative, pedestrian safety, property tax relief & the Dunbar historic marker designation this February. Great engagement

Ohio has the third-most lead service lines in the country, and Cincinnati Water is working hard everyday to replace them. Today, we advocated for Ohio’s HB 534 to facilitate the elimination of lead service lines and improve our quality of life.

Thank you to the administration for putting together this report on the composition of the workforce engaged in city projects. Measuring this data is valuable to establishing strategic goals aimed at greater workforce inclusion.
