This is important for the people who live in social housing - meaning they won't be forced to live in unsafe and unclean housing. Bringing the call centre in public hands means better service, support and faster repairs. smh.com.au/politics/nsw/o…

Tasmanians should be alarmed at these suspension figures. 37 prep students (5 yr olds) were suspended up to the end of term 3. Students with disability are also over represented as a % of all suspensions. 👆is a sign the system is failing #Politas themercury.com.au/truecrimeaustr…

A final highlight to share for 2023 is DSA's involvement and a range of conferences, advisory groups and committees. The DSA team and ambassadors have been actively involved in major advocacy projects this year, including the Disability Royal Commission and Review of the NDIS.

Our Anthony Mulholland told it straight today on the barriers to safe and accessible social housing for people with intellectual disability. Kate Washington MP listened intently at her Disability Royal Commission Forum. We’re looking to the NSW Government for a strong response.
