We're proud to have offered support to people in mental health crisis via NHS 111 since 2016 after Cambridgeshire and Peterborough was chosen as one of the original pilot areas, and we're delighted help is now available across the whole country.

Great news that Cambridge Children's Hospital has had its Outline Business Case fully approved by ministers and NHS England. This brings the East of England’s first specialist children’s hospital one step closer, with construction due to start in 2026 👉cambridgechildrens.org.uk

Dr Caroline Meiser-Stedman, one of our clinical directors, has praised our First Response Service team. In 2016 they were among the first in the country to provide help to those in mental health crisis via NHS 111. Their work led the way for the national network in place now.
