Reading lots about “debate style.” It’s not about quality of rehearsed putdowns and comebacks. It’s about connecting through a camera to the few minds open to change. It’s about what someone sees and feels, not what they hear. It’s about authenticity which can’t be rehearsed.

Interesting nuance in polling on Fed politics is that government approval is better than vote. Says it’s more about who is doing it than what is being done. So even significantly changing the act without changing the actors is unlikely to move the numbers.
