P2/3 learnt about the human body. In groups we took turns, rolled a dice and then depending on the number picked the correct bone. The longest bone is called the femur. We learnt the smallest bone is in our ears!

Primary six have been practicing their spelling words in different ways today. We used play dough, wrote on the windows, played hangman and used dictionaries to find the definitions. #MissMacdonaldP6

Today, as part of their learning about the body p3/2 learnt about their hearts and used a stethoscope to listen to them. Hearts beat faster when exercising to pump blood around the body. 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ We tested this theory by listening to hearts before and after a work out.

Today in P7/6 we completed a Rich Task using a Rubick’s cube as the stimulus for the problem. The children really enjoyed this and everyone was engaged in the task. #mrshillanandp7p6
