Great to speak at Music Industries Association conference today and discuss the National Plan for Music Education, Music Hubs and the musical instrument fund! Good lemon meringue too 😁
Always a highlight of my year. Fantastic night at Music for Youth Proms and this year got the pleasure of taking my daughter - she was stunned by the Royal Albert Hall and the amazingly talented young musicians 🎵
Excited to be at this year's Music Mark conference in Southampton, enjoying some music to get us started #MMConference23
Loving Oliver! at Leeds Playhouse with my seven year old Oliver Twist enthusiast!
Borrowed some small people this morning to take to A Day at the Pond by OAE and South Asian Arts-uk, supported by Orchestras Live and East Riding Arts as part of #ClassicallyYours. Lovely way to spend a morning 😌
Pleasure to deliver a keynote alongside Stefano Pozzi from Department for Education on the National Plan for Music Education at today's Music and Drama Expo. Thank you to all who attended and asked a question.
Really pleased that Youth Music's new fund has opened - focussed on 2-4year olds and creativity. There'll be a Q&A on the fund on 4 March so take a look on Youth Music's website to sign up.
Looking forward to Sao Paulo Dance Company, touring with Dance Consortium to Hull New Theatre. I'm here Joe Bates !
Loved WiseChildren's last show so can't wait for Blue Beard York Theatre Royal tonight!!!
Been to soooo many Music for Youth events over the years but today had pleasure of watching my daughter perform at one, in a beautiful first performance of a new singing and signing choir with ERC Music Dept. at Hull Music Hub
Such a lovely event this morning celebrating Young Sounds UK new name with performances by two brilliant young musicians and a short speech from Jess Gillam Fender's beautiful space. Well done to all involved and good luck with the new name!
I’ve written a new Arts Council England blog reflecting on our next steps after the General Election, and what the arts and culture sector can do too, as we navigate change together. You can read it here: artscouncil.org.uk/blog/navigatin… #LetsCreate
