Very proud to have contributed to this research! Could there be less dark matter in the universe than we once believed? Big thanks to Francesco Sylos Labini & Matteo Straccamore for their collaboration. 🌌✨🔗academic.oup.com/mnras/article/…

Curious about how recommendation algorithms shape our online experiences? One of them will decide if you'll see this tweet. Take a look at my latest work for a statistical physics perspective on the topic! Giulio Iannelli #DataScience #Algorithms journals.aps.org/pre/abstract/1…

In a recent study, a group of researchers at CREF, led by Francesco Sylos Labini, introduced the dark matter disk model, reshaping our interpretation of the dynamics of disk galaxies.

Dark matter has been introduced to explain several observations in astrophysics and cosmology. The main and most direct one is that of the rotation curves of outer galaxies: the rotation speed of stars remains constant at large distances from the centre 1/

We started this great scientific project more than one year ago and now the data collection is over! How can you use network theory to get drunk? We will soon share the answer with all of you!

Economic complexity applied to the US Skill-Job occupational network 🧑‍🔬👨‍🌾👷‍♀️ Check out my last work with Sabrina Aufiero, Angelica Sbardella and Andrea Zaccaria! nature.com/articles/s4159…

We recently published a preprint generalizing Economic Complexity methods to monopartite networks arxiv.org/abs/2405.04158. Nice to see that one of the fathers of ECI algorithm César A. Hidalgo liked it! Notably, we obtain similar results also for the EFC algorithm.

On my way back from NetSci 2024 where I presented my work on LLMs & scale-free networks arxiv.org/abs/2312.06619 Loved Minsuk Daniel Kim talk on shortest-path percolation and Gülşah Akçakır poster on collaborative problem-solving on networks. Be sure to check out their work!

🤖 What's the maximal scale of an LLM populated society? Can LLMs self organise and reach consensus? If you missed my #CCS2024 talk, check out our latest preprint with David Garcia for insights! Special thanks to Diogo Pires for the photo 📸 arxiv.org/abs/2409.02822
