WASH4Health Project II takes off in Atiwa West District in ER. 9 communities will benefit from this project. Water Systems, mechanized and simple boreholes and Safe Water Education will be provided.

To achieve decent toilets for all by 2030, the world must work 5x faster on sanitation. Ambitious, yes – but not rocket science or artificial intelligence. Governments must accelerate investment in climate-resilient WASH infrastructure. 🚽 #WorldToiletDay

GrowthAid launched the sWASH4Health Project on 10/11/23 in Atiwa West District. In his opening remarks, the Ag Country Director of GrowthAid, Mr. Fred Yaw Ohene said, knowing the financial challenge faced by the district, GrowthAid has come to support the district with WASH.

In his presentation at the launch of sWASH4Health II Project, the Head of Operations said GrowthAid will provide 2 model piped peri-urban water systems in 2 communities and safe water education in 9 communities in the district. He asked for cooperation from relevant stakeholders.

The District Coordinating Director, Mr. Divine Seth Nurworbor, welcomed GrowthAid to Atiwa West District and pledged their support and cooperation for the implementation of the WASH4Health II project in the district. He was grateful to GrowthAid for coming to their aid.
