Thank you Andrew Wilkie MP for meeting with public school teachers and students in Canberra yesterday and pledging your support to help fully fund public schools! #auspol #politas
Senator Anthony Chisholm met with public school students and teachers in Parliament House and committed to the campaign for fully funded public schools. Thank you for your support of public education. #auspol #qldpol
State Education Ministers like Blair Boyer MP joined us in Canberra as we stood united in our call for fully funded public schools '....so that teachers have the time, resources and support to help students achieve the best academic outcomes' #auspol #saparli
United in action! We went to Canberra to meet with the Anthony Albanese Government about full funding for every child at a public school. Hats off to State Education Ministers like Prue Car MP 'I will not sign any agreement that shortchanges NSW public schools' #auspol #NSWpol
.maxine sharkey welcoming many women members here today for their first Teachers Federation Womens Conference - some who’ve been to quite a few 😉 #nswtfwomen24
Which is exactly what Teachers Federation warned in the lead up to the COAG meeting in 2012 that demanded all governments make funding to TAFE contestable and precarious. I wonder if Julia Gillard or any of the other participants will ever apologise for the scandal.
Michael, a casual teacher across 5 public schools, sees the impact of underfunding firsthand. Last week he joined us in Canberra, lobbying the Federal Govt to raise their share of school funding, to give teachers & students the resources they need. #auspol #nswpol Anthony Albanese
