There are genuinely people in this country who care more about middle class parents not being able to pay their private school fees than working class parents not being able to buy their kids food.

It feels increasingly as if the social media age is just allowing us to see unimaginable horror in real time, whilst leaving us entirely helpless to do anything to save the human beings enduring it.

I genuinely cannot understand how this stuff gets printed. When a columnist writes, it has to pass multiple stages and people - different types of editors, legal etc - to fact check and more. “I reckon some disabilities are made up and now I will list them” should not pass go.

If you’re a parent at another school who has been offered photo editing/exclusion around disabled pupils for class photos, I would be keen to hear from you. E: [email protected] (individuals can be anonymous if needed and handed sensitively, of course)

I just signed this important open letter on Organise, please can you add your name? Open an investigation into the DWP's handling of Carers Allowance and prosecutions of Unpaid Carers organise.network/s/c91b7b

We are in rehearsals for our new play Gotcha! The Faultlines of a Broken System about a Disabled family snd the DWP. Our first performance will be on 4th June at a youth centre in Richmond. Of course this is with Ruils and features our wonderful & talented company of actors.

With Ruils we have created a new play and we look forward to performing next Tuesday thanks to AchievingForChildren at a local Youth Club. The play tells the story of Bobby, a Disabled Person who gets investigated by the DWP. Our dress rehearsal is tomorrow at Patch Twickenham. 😀😁😆

“If disabled people were represented in politics according to their proportion of the UK population, there would be about 136 disabled MPs. There were, in fact, just five in 2021.” Lucy Webster theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
