Dear UK Moth recorders - please can you help Iona Cunningham-Eurich with her PhD research. It's not about the moths but all other species found in moth traps. It would be great for her research & its not onerous :) Gavin Broad Prof Seirian Sumner qualtrics.ucl.ac.uk/jfe/form/SV_55…
More wasps! Iona Cunningham-Eurich and I have been sorting through lots of wasps from across the country. Ophion all look the same... until they don't. Different heads presumably suited for emergence from different host retreats. Ophion brevicornis on the right, O. confusus on the left.
I don’t think that the Houses of Parliament Peregrines have ever received such a loud round of applause than the one given by those marching for nature today Restore Nature Now #RestoreNatureNow
Dear BBC News (UK) we would like to know why you didn’t cover a major news event in #London yesterday. Between 60-100 THOUSAND people marched at the #RestoreNatureNow. It looks like you are picking what you think is newsworthy. Isn’t that called bias? Regards, British wildlife.
You know I love the BBC & celebrate all the things we pay our licence fee for . But yesterday whilst 100K peaceful people marched to demonstrate their love for life all I could find on BBC News (UK) was a selfie of the gas-guzzling Taylor Swift . Im sorry but thats a disgrace
Witnessed at Walthamstow Wetlands yesterday: the astonishing sight of a peregrine falcon carrying its kingfisher prey! 📷 by Max Li Pang Walthamstow Wetlands
