James S Murphy Research skills are what high touch colleges/universities are best positioned to offer. "Research skills" supposedly coming from high school mean little or nothing because in most disciplines the students haven't the context or skills to do meaningful research.

No lies told... Equity begins with our expectations + understanding that everyone does not have the same opportunities unless you're intentionally elitist.

At the very least, in interpreting outcomes of the impact of the SFFA decision, we should not look at YOY comparisons. I saw the tweet calling out Yale for the bump in White enrollment this year, but it was the same percentage as 2 years ago, and lower than 2019 and 2021.
