e-bikes had been riding on the road and pavement at nearly 60mph, almost struck pedestrians on the pavement. Working with Blackpool NHP #T3RPU used tactics to stop these bikes. One rider got away without a bike. The other arrested and was also under the influence of drugs.

This vehicle was escorted into the DVSA Enforcement checksite at Farrington today for inspection by CVU officers. An abnormal load movement notification had not been submitted and the vehicle was too wide, long and heavy. Prohibition notices and fixed penalty notices were issued.

The driver of this vehicle was observed travelling in lane 3 of 4 on M6 northbound. In the 3 lane stretch they maintained a position in lane 2 and ignored polite requests by MN34 to use the correct lane. Vehicle stopped and driver reported for due care offence #Team4RPU

On the M6 near to Lancaster a horse box broke down carrying three young horses 🐴🐴🐴 To transfer them safely to other vehicles it was necessary to close both carriageways for a short while. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused #Team4RPU

This bike was stopped on M6 near to Preston. Rider using the hard shoulder as a route to deliver fast food 🤦‍♂️ Power output of bike falling into moped category & required licence, insurance etc which the rider didn’t have. Rider summonsed to court & bike seized #Team4RPU

Something different for the Traffic Sgt today, this family were struggling to negotiate a roundabout in Ansdell. The family safely made it across the road in an orderly fashion and waddled off towards their destination. #T3RPU #NotJustCars

Driver of this van missed his turn off on the M55, reversing along the hard shoulder to complete the exit. They didn’t see the potential danger they caused making this manoeuvre stating they had only reversed a short distance Driver reported for offences. #MN11. #T2RPU.

Further examination of this bike which was stopped on the M6 the other evening. Amongst other things, throttle fitted allowing propulsion in excess of 6 km/h without pedalling. This defined as a lower powered moped and therefore regulated under RTA as a motor vehicle #Team4RPU
