I was pleased to host a group from the World Mission Society Church of God Young Adult Worker Volunteers from South Korea. They have done some great work in our Borough helping to clean up along by Teddington Lock. Keeping our planet green must be the priority for all Nations!

Deputy Mayor Kuldev Sehra joined hundreds people on Twickenham Green to remember Amelie Delagrange who was tragically murdered 20 years ago. The floral tributes were amazing, & speakers highlighted the changes required to prevent violence towards women & girls. #whiteribbon

I was pleased to meet the Chilean Ambassador Ximena Fuentes & other VIP's for the annual Bernardo O'Higgins Ceremony in Richmond. Educated in Richmond O'Higgins steered Chile to independence from Spain over 200 yrs ago. We are pleased to welcome our Chilean friends to Richmond.

We joined the Mayor of Royal Borough of Kingston, Cllr Green, Horse Rangers Big Weekend to see a wonderful display horse choreography! It was great to help them celebrate their 70th year & see the dedication of staff, volunteers as well as the Rangers themselves. Wonderful event.

Mayoress, Helen & I received a fabulous welcome from our Ukrainian guests at the Annual Indendence Day Celebrations, Civic Centre Twickenham. Our Borough hosts a large number of refugees following Putin’s illegal war in their country we welcome them here as a safe haven.

Mayoress & I attended the 125th Anniversary Richmond Theatre along with a cast incl. former Mayor Cllr Baldwin, MP Sarah Olney celebs to walk down memory lane of the varied performances at this wonderful Matcham Theatre. A great venue in Richmond that adds to our cultural life.

We had a successful evening at my Charity Quiz Night raising funds & awareness of my charities Richmond Borough Mind Home-Start Richmond, Kingston & Hounslow Ed & his team put on a great series of questions & I was pleased to present the newly discovered, & ‘much coveted winners cup’ to Class of 54’. Well done to all!

Mayoress & I joined a magical mystery tour on a splendid old route master bus… we, along with eager residents visited the borough community centres before enjoying a marvellous cream tea AvenueClubKew serenaded by the Avenukes ukulele band. Thanks to all the community helpers..
