Huge congrats to your senior men’s rugby side yesterday who competed in a 7s tournament down St. Peters RFC and won the plate. Nice to get a bit of silverware this early. Onwards and upwards. Thank you to St. Peters RFC for hosting us and good luck for the season ahead 🏉👊🦁

As the season is nearly upon us we want to take this time to publicise what our key rugby personnel think about the season ahead. First up is Llanishen RFC head coach Stuart Lock aka Locky 🦁

Day 2 - this morning we introduce our backs coach Stuart Richards. Stu has been instrumental in getting our back line connected and as a result, scoring some brilliant tries last season. Here is what Stu thinks about the up coming season 🦁

Day 3 - Our most senior player and birthday boy lee swindlehurst .Lee hit a milestone within the club last season & feels the time is right to start educating others with the vast amount of experience he possess.Here is what he has to say about the upcoming season 🦁

Day 4 - introducing our 1XV team manager Rhys Pottinger (Rhys Pottinger ). Behind the scenes is just as important on the field and Rhys’ first season as team manager helped organise what was a very efficient process to support the team in promotion. 🦁

Day 5 - introducing our club captain Lewis Marshall.In his second season as captain he led his team to promotion to division 1, playing some fast, free flowing rugby long the way.Here are his thoughts as he moves into his 3rd season as 1XV Captain 🦁

Day 6 - and our final post of the personnel that will hopefully lead our lions to another successful season. Paul Dolan (Paul Dolan ) will lead the newly branded *Athletic* into the WRU conference 🦁
