Indaba is a sacred place for African AI researchers. It is also the most magical place for MLC. Last year, when I attended (and had the honor to deliver a keynote), I met up with over 50 Nigerians who travelled 600+ miles for 40+ hours by bus. MLC-Nigeria was founded there.
