In the New Scientist quotes Dylan Williams and our paper with Dr Emma Anderson. 74% of Alzheimer's cases can be attributed to variants in ApoE. ApoE has a comparable effect on the risk of AD as current smoking has for lung cancer. medrxiv.org/content/10.110…

A highly cited paper in nature on COVID-19 "global consensus" did not use systematic evidence review and was led by and heavily stacked by leading zero-covid advocates. But this was - except in rare cases -not declared to the scientific community. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

🚨Our new study (preprint): 🦴We find that accurate prediction of hip fracture risk and determination of optimal threshold for treatment with bone-specific agents is possible even in absence of bone density data. Viktor H. Ahlqvist, Anna & Peter Nordström papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf…

“Attention to” = eliminated. And for the magnitude of effect the assumption is, as always, 0 confounding and measurement error. People need to be more careful when interpreting PAFs. Especially as 🧬-informed studies suggest many of the postulated risk factors as non-causal.

The Swedish nanochemist and zero-covid advocate prof Ewing has assembled a team to define a new scientific consensus on long-covid. Interestingly, this time they note WHN (17 of 29 top authors) which they did not in the Nature paper sciencedirect.com/science/articl… x.com/KasperKepp/sta…

Clinicians are increasingly being recommended to try to change our patient’s lifestyle. But is our advice helping people change behavior?
