My book review on Dr Ninon Dubourg 's "Disabled clerics in the Late Middle Ages: Un/suitable for Divine Service?" was just published on "Vínculos de Historia" issue 13 (2024). Hope it will get the recognition it deserves among spanish historians of medieval church and disability!

Please RT! I'm looking for books/articles/chapters that address the topic of surgical procedures/operations taking place outside the hospital (i.e., at home) in the past. Any leads would be very much appreciated!

Archival treasure #2: 1484 accounts for one of the hospitals in Liege (saint Julien) is using a pontifical letter sent by pope Gregorius (I did not have the time to find which one) as a cover! The nerves 😄
