#Fatal5 enforcement on A508 Harborough Rd, Maidwell this afternoon resulted in 7 drivers being reported for exceeding the posted 30mph speed limit. The fastest recorded was a HGV at 4️⃣2️⃣mph! Do you need a clean license for your job - choosing to speed is not worth the risk!

Yesterday the team were out in both marked + unmarked vehicles reporting drivers committing #Fatal5 offences in the areas of 🔹Daventry 🔹Crick 🔹Kilsby 🔹Silverstone 🔹Weedon Please #SlowDown, wear your seatbelt and put away and distractions before setting off on your journey.

THREAD: We're running a safety campaign in Northamptonshire. Matt O'Connell, Safer Roads Team Strategic Manager, Northants Police said: “An e-scooter is not a toy. It is a vehicle designed to be ridden on the roads and therefore must be treated with care and responsibility.

Speed enforcement completed on Benefield Road,Oundle this afternoon. 1 motorist clocked at 37mph. Speed limit 30mph. Driver has points on their licence for excess speed already. Driver reported for the offence and hopefully will now learn....

NEW INCIDENT #M1 northbound J16 #Daventry to J17 #M45 #Northamptonshire LANES CLOSED 3 lanes (of 4) closed due to a multi-vehicle collision. No serious injuries. Northants Roads Policing Team Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust and our officers on scene. 45 min delay and 4 miles of congestion.
