Today we welcomed the British Transplant Games baton to QMC ahead of the British Transplant Games next week. Throughout the games transplant survivors of all ages will compete in more than 25 sports, representing hospitals across the UK where they received their organ transplant.

We are using high intensity theatre lists (HIT lists) to help reduce the backlog for non-emergency surgery. Our gynaecology team carried out six robotic-assisted hysterectomies on a Saturday HIT list - 3️⃣ times the number of patients compared to a regular list.
