What an amazing day for our Y5/6 writing group!After all receiving their own copies of #SnorehamptonGoesSplat Holly & Seth introduced our chapter on stage which was then read by brilliant author Lisette Auton Illustrator Chanté Timothy had even illustrated one of our scenes! 🙌

I wish there were more conversations about wait times in publishing for contracts and payment. Why is there industry-wide acceptance of authors not getting paid for several months? And so little discussion of how this also contributes to a lack of diversity?
