i actually really hate when other people try to take credit for my recovery bc it’s never the people who have actually positively impacted it it’s always the ones who are actually making my life much harder deciding they’re the reason i’m doing better

trying to get support as a disabled person is just “to access support you must go through this incredibly difficult and lengthy process BUT if you do manage to get through it we will say you’re not disabled enough to need support bc no one who does could actually do it”

just bc people are currently following me from a post about trauma, if you see me talking about csa more than anything else it’s not bc i think other types of trauma are lesser in any way it’s just bc csa is the bulk of my trauma so it’s usually my go-to when i need an example
