🚨 Announcement 🚨 I'm releasing RunElixir(.)com which is a free, 30min Elixir Quickstart guide. It aims to answer the question: "How can I get started with Elixir?" but also "What else is there to know about Elixir?" #MyElixirStatus José Valim Chris McCord Theo - t3.gg

Been doing Elixir the whole week 🥰 Diving deep into Opentelemetry was a bit challenging but worth the effort. I learned a lot, like ie this thing where you can use Record module to automatically define fields based on an erlang definition file and have a record builder function

Yesterday I tried to properly set up my Phoenix app on Fly.io. I already had a deployable Dockerfile so I just used it. Then I discovered that migrations fail to run, and I get timeouts during deployments. After wasting quite some time trying to figure it out, it turned out

✨ I did a cool thing in Elixir! Got a Phoenix app where I use Playwright for e2e tests and finally I managed to write a script that captures combined coverage when running regular tests and e2e too! It's a messy module, codename Covex 🤣, but I may turn it into a proper tool

🤯 just saw that Phoenix Framework comes prepackaged with an Ecto Stats page with so many insightful details! Most other frameworks need extra extensions to piece this info together. #myelixirstatus
