My dogs are socialized and I personally train them since they're puppies. They ignore the neighbor dogs even when they bark and freak out on the other side of the fence. Well... The pit bull jumped the fence and mutilated my dog. My best friend is dead. The vet couldn't save him.

He was always by my side and proved he would give his life for me(when my ex husband came at me before) So I risked mine. Got the pitbull off him twice. Sprained my finger possibly. Can I wake up from this dream now?

I really miss my dog

Took PTO time for today. Boss has two dogs and no kids so she probably understands. Icing my finger and realizing my back and ankle aren't great either. Gus is being very cuddly today and I don't have to leave my bed. So that's good.
