Step Up to STEM On the Road traveled to Enfield, NC this week to visit Enfield Middle STEAM Academy! A big thank you to Ms. Tashaunna Hughes, Enfield’s guidance counselor, for providing us with a wonderful opportunity to connect with students and present information to them!

This week, Step Up to STEM On the Road was in Phoenix, Arizona at the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools professional conference! Dr. Gerri Cole, Dr. Letitia Hubbard, and Dr. Amber Smith presented to teachers, administrators and counselors in STEM education!

This summer, Step Up to STEM hosted 2 cohorts of students at NCSSM-Durham & ECSU, serving 137 rising 9th and 10th graders in NC. Thanks to Cisco Systems, Anonymous Trust Foundation, The Barber Fund, funding from Blue Cross Blue Shield, & NCAIA Fund for their generous support!
