Our expectation of God must not be that there will never be anything chasing us. Our expectation of God is that we are chosen while we are chased.

"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you." Isaiah 26:3

God can use you to deliver. God can use you to be a blessing. God can use you to give wisdom. God can use you to build it up and to tear it down, but it's going to be because of Him, not because of you.

"He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace." 2 Timothy 1:9

Feelings of sadness do not negate the joy of the Lord, but it becomes a problem when you allow the feeling of sadness to be the primary soil in which your life is grown. Feelings come, but they don't come first.

God can lead you, even when you're not really sure where you are going. Even if you're stumbling, you're not alone. He will guide you and carry your cross when it gets too heavy.

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him." Psalm 28:7

God can free you from whatever you need to be free from today. If He did then, He can do it now. "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

The issue is not that you're stuck, the issue is that you've stopped. Don't ever let what you don't have keep you from using what God has given you.
