1/3 It’s #Pollinators Day at the #MNStateFair. As part of the occasion, Rep. Rick Hansen, DNR Assistant Commissioner Jess Richards, and DNR Pollinator Conservation Coordinator Christina Locke spent some time in DNR’s pollinator garden at the Fair.

Wildfire prevention hero Smokey Bear turned 80 years old this month, and today at the #MNStateFair, DNR Commissioner Sarah Strommen and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan surprised him with a proclamation proclaiming August 23 as Smokey Bear Day in Minnesota!

Thank you, MN Lakes & Rivers, for encouraging landowners to manage lake shore for heathy habitat and clean water! We had several critters visit this weekend, and we got our sign out.
