I'm happy to announce I will be joining UTK Microbiology as an assistant professor. Our lab will integrate computational and wet-lab approaches to explore relationships between microbial community interactions and ecological outcomes in free-living and host-associated systems.
Excited to see ‘Comparative genomic analysis of an emerging Pseudomonadaceae member, Thiopseudomonas alkaliphila’ online. This versatile organism is commonly associated with decomposing organic matter, but its niche is relatively unknown. UTK Microbiology journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/sp…
Interested in a new, under-described member of the Pseudomonadaceae family with potential roles in ecosystem geochemical cycling and disease ecology? Zachary Burcham provides a genomic exploration of this emerging organism. journals.asm.org/doi/10.1128/sp…
Thrilled to have organized an amazing scikit-bio tutorial at #ISMB2024! Thanks to Jamie Morton, Matt, Valentyn Bezshapkin 🇺🇦, Henry Secaira, and all who attended and engaged! Tutorial materials are available at: twtr.to/eErkG. Let's push the boundaries of #OpenScience together!
Come join us at UTK Microbiology! We have a number of postings live that target a broad range of microbiology! See this posting for a new Molecular Microbiology search: apply.interfolio.com/149772 And here for a Microbe-Plant Interactions: apply.interfolio.com/148448 Please share!
