St Michael and All Angel’s, Stanton, Cotswolds, origins can be traced back to 12 century. It was locked when I was there but it is an excuse to go back and explore inside.

Got lost in the country walk but there is always isolated cottage somewhere showing the direction 🥾 🌳

Sadly NT had to close Beatrix Potter Gallery permanently due to humidity level. Building is now unsuitable to display the valuable collection she left behind. It was a perfect place in Hawkshead, feel lucky I saw inside before. Wray Castle is being considered as new location

Back to my favourite church with full of mysteries. These two 12c stone carvings were discovered in 1980, were part of original church. They have been used as rubble to fill in a block up door. Now on display inside the church. All Saints, Billesley, original goes to 11c

Not very common to have fireplaces in the old medieval churches. This one was built specifically for vicar to keep warm between morning and afternoon service to save him travelling backward and forward to Stratford upon Avon. All Saints, Billesley, Warwickshire

Made few unsuccessful attempt to take a good photo of a Moon, apparently special rare harvest moon tonight. Then again, Moon never exposes its full beauty and secrets even if we use the best camera. (Only phone in my case) Goodnight to you all dear friends 🌒
