Such an honor to celebrate the merger of St. Clare of Assisi and St Francis Xavier Schools this morning at a beautiful mass followed by a family reception. I even met people I knew from my former missions in the Bronx! NY Catholic Schools The Good Newsroom #blessed #CatholicSchools

So grateful his Eminence took the time to visit the Generalate of my religious congregation in Rome today. My sister, Sister Anne, lives there and serves as our Vicar General and was happy and honored to welcome a special visitor from “home.”

Related to the visit of Cardinal Dolan to the Generalate of my congregation today, someone asked me about the pictures in front of a tomb. This is the resting place of the foundress of our community, Blessed Clelia Merloni, who died in 1930 and was beatified on November 3, 2018.

To help protect our NY Catholic Schools students against increasing threats in NY, I wholeheartedly welcome the drive to secure greater security funding for local nonpublic schools. A heartfelt thanks to our public servants for their dedication to championing this cause. Sen. Mike Gianaris

Honored to meet with His Excellency, Dr. Paul Beresford-Hill, Ambassador and Permanent Observer at the United Nations, representing the Sovereign Order of Malta. It was a pleasure to engage with a representative from such a significant Catholic humanitarian organization.

Da Vinci's Last Supper has no hidden codes. Painted on the wall of an OP refectory, it's designed to look like Jesus & the Apostles were eating w/ the friars. It shows the moment Jesus announced His betrayal, a reminder never to stray from the Shepherd who feeds us with His Body.

Renewed Pascal good wishes! In Italy they call today the “Monday of the Angels” to recall the angels who were there to announce the great news of the Resurrection. The Good Newsroom
