I think this is the happiest I have been about Indian election results in the last decade! Although Modi will come back to power with the help of smaller regional partners; this is an outright rejection of his politics of hatred, division & crony capitalism.

This is simply not true. A post-tax salary of $21k is extremely extremely low. "Very good" stipends these days tend to be $31/32k post-tax (& they should be even higher!)
