What a lush day! I wonder if good events are determined by how enthusiastic people still are by the end. Today, everyone made clearing up fun and stayed to help, seemed happy to linger. One parent who wanted to stay and play, had to be coaxed home by their child.

The folks at Balfour Beatty kindly paid for some anti-graffiti coating for the new mural on Gelder Road Armley. It's nearly finished, please wish for more dry days... We can't wait to reveal the manifesto made by young people of what they want for everyone in Armley.

This is Fudge, our local high street horse, who lives on Armley Moor, a big green space on Town Street. He's loved by people round here. Hundreds of people look out for him, and let his owners know if anything's not right. So...a pretty standard high street really.....

Tadaa! Here it is, the Gelder Road mural, finished by We Belong Here yesterday, bringing more colour & creativity to the Town Street area. It sets out a manifesto by local young people for Armley, their words and hopes. "We are full of life. We are full of potential."

This was the dress-of-dreams for one child who visited bundles Armley yesterday. Would madam like to try it on we asked? Yes please! All the adults curtsied when she left wearing it over her other clothes with a huge smile. £3 buys you that, but really, it made our day!
