We are training today ready for our Requals on Thursday Basic Life Support and using an AED - Something we need to do every year to make sure we are competent when it comes to the most critical call we can get when out responding ❤️EMAS Community Response Team
We have 5 responders (Juliet,David,Stu,Jack & Kim) All serving with the British Army (St George’s Barracks and DATR Melton) except Juliet - Associated with the group 7 years ago 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 EMAS Community Response Team
We had our AGM today discussing the future of the scheme…….. Exciting times ahead We have a new car, soon to be unveiled Also discussed Fund raising, Training & Recruitment EMAS Community Response Team
2nd Scheme Induction Day today - went really well now looking forward to getting these new members through the process to become responders EMAS Community Response Team
Juliet & Jack out last night 5 jobs for us including Sepsis, Chest pain and a Cardiac Arrest always great to assist crews on difficult jobs EMAS Community Response Team
We use Oxygen for some patients if it’s needed We always check a patient’s oxygen levels as one of our checks to see if it’s in normal range EMAS Community Response Team
We also check a patient’s blood pressure another good indicator of a problem - Drs textbook is 120/80 Have you checked yours 💪🏻EMAS Community Response Team
Juliet & Kim out last night in CFR37 we had a couple of patients to deal with Jack also out the other night had a couple of jobs that he assisted with and David got a call to a Cardiac arrest - Respect form in place so patients wishes were respected EMAS Community Response Team

Well what a great day we had with Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service they showed us how they would get a casualty out of a car - We learned a lot from these amazing people thank you so much ❤️🚒❤️EMAS Community Response Team
