I will add to my comment below: women in our society are asked far more than men to do extra labor. It's expected that we'll help--and this goes well beyond our professional lives. Even when we say no, we're saying no to more requests than men: so many more requests.

Johanna Mellis What's so awful about this whole thing is that many of us--me included--do actually want to stay! Our critiques come from a place of deep love for Morgantown, WV, & all that WVU stands for. I don't want to leave! But for us to stay, and WVU to recover, rebuilding is urgent.
