It’s wild how many Americans are so used to being exploited that they see another worker with a good union contract and say “what makes you think you deserve that?” Instead of “I should be getting that too.”

It’s so striking how every single one of these “academic” places refuses to ever negotiate in good faith. Healthcare isn’t becoming more corporate. It’s already completely corporatized. Only solution is to unionize, get to it.

For the past 8 months waiting on an NLRB ruling on whether we can move forward with our election our employer has stated “things will be different” and “we respect you” and its painfully obvious 2 days into our pre election hearing, they do not in fact respect us. 😊
