Our 2nd grade Cockrell Elementary School created this monstrosity of a wreath to help bring the Christmas spirit to tomorrow’s Prosper Christmas Festival. We even broke out the glitter for this one. I love how it turned out.
It’s always an exciting moment when the vision board for this year comes to fruition. Our 4th grade Cockrell Elementary School loved the entire process of creating these mythological creatures and their elemental backgrounds. I can’t wait to refresh our art gallery with these.

Our Cockrell Elementary School are finishing up their polymer clay sculptures this week. It’s been an amazing three weeks and I love how the relationships and friendships that are created at school have carried over to our sculptures .
Our 3rd and 4th grade Cockrell Elementary School made a forever home for their polymer clay Squishmallows. The Ss loved making these dry snow globes. These are an amazing keepsake that capture the magic of being in Art at Cockrell.
Our First grade Cockrell Elementary School created these amazing winter landscapes. Ss used the elements of art: value, space and repetition. They also used the wet on wet watercolor technique and stencil printed.
As a teacher it’s a great feeling when you unlock your Ss potential. Today our 3rd grade Cockrell Elementary School applied a right brain drawing strategy known as the contour drawing technique. These Ss leveled up instantaneously
Our first grade Cockrell Elementary School have been exploring scratch art and the woodcut artist Noosh. Ss loved creating these little masterpieces.
Our 2nd grade Cockrell Elementary School have been exploring modern pop artist like Andy Warhol and have compared similarities and differences between western culture pop art and Japanese Pop Art. Ss loved creating these flowers inspired by the contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami
Our 4th grade Cockrell Elementary School loved sculpting these dragon masks. They definitely bring good fortune!
Our 2nd and 3rd grade Cockrell Elementary School are featured in these beautiful triptychs.
Our first grade Cockrell Elementary School are creating 3D Ring Pops with Mr. Doodle scratch art backgrounds. They love it!

Our 5th grade Cockrell Elementary School created theme based 3D drawings. Ss utilized various methods of creating space. Ss were also taught one and two point perspective
It’s only the second day of school and we already have artwork on display!Our Cockrell Elementary School are creating vinyl stickers. Every 1st-5th grade student will have their artwork on display in our art gallery to start off this amazing 2024-25 school year!
Our 2nd and 4th grade Cockrell Elementary School are bringing the Aloha vibes to our art gallery. 2nd created Kawaii style fish and 4th created Eduardo Bolioli inspired Aloha Art.
