I gave a talk today & began by reading the names of the victims of the massacre in #Atlanta. Their lives may seem remote & unconnected to mine, but as an Asian woman, an immigrant & a daughter of Korean immigrant entrepreneurs, I know that my fate is deeply connected to theirs.

Professor Min Zhou’s Min Zhou lecture on Asian Americans really hit me hard. The feelings that Asians have to live up to a (higher) standard to be acceptable are real. Being a woman probably further magnifies such feelings. These feelings are mentally taxing.

One year has been passed, but we shall never forget the pain and the names. #StopAsianHate #StopAAPIHate should not be stopped if we still witness #hatecrimes in our daily life. We won't stop thinking, writing, and speaking on #racism.
