High level athletics teach you how to win, compete and be gracious both in victory and defeat. These are valuable lessons needed to be successful in both, athletics and in life. Teamwork, discipline, work ethic and leadership will get you far in sport, business and life.

Some players want the ball played short and to their feet but if you can’t keep possession, the ball won’t be played to you. Every time you touch the ball you show a glimpse of your ability, intelligence & skill. Keep the ball. Make smart passes. Be simple. Use your magic.

We have a team competing in the 7v7 TST tournament. Winning team takes $1m, June 5-7. We have current and former professional players/friends from Europe and United States committed to play. Former USMNT lads on the roster. We ready to ball.

Some people charge money to connect kids with colleges, brands or professional teams for trials. We don’t make money this way. We own businesses in other industries; we don’t charge kids to help them. We do this for free & to provide opportunity, just like someone did for us.

Some parents want their kid to take guaranteed playing time at D2 or D3 level instead of working hard and competing for spots at D1 level. In business, life & sports, you must compete to be #1. Most parents never competed at a high level. It takes a different kind of mentality

People who get paid to place kids at college programs will try to put you at D2, D3 and JuCo programs because it’s easy for them. If you want to be a pro, play Division 1 college. You should want to compete against the best players. Don’t be convinced to take the easy way.

If you’re a top level athlete you work on your craft, you condition your body and you don’t eat garbage food or drink alcohol. Start preparing yourself for the professional life. Respect your body. Respect your mind.

The top youth players from Southern California are usually better players than the kids coming to USA from overseas academies to play college soccer. That’s great that the overseas kids were previously on youth contracts at pro clubs but it doesn’t mean much.

Soccer players are the best overall athletes. It’s really not even a question. It’s too obvious.

I’ve worked with players from elite youth club academies all the way to overseas professional champions league players. We’ve worked together and we’ve balled together. It’s nothing for me to connect the right player with the right brand or club. High integrity is always a must.

If your integrity isn’t high, brands can’t work with you. Many don’t realize this but your character is on display at all times. We can’t work with you if you’re not a good representation. High integrity is a must at all times if you want to be a professional.

Mentality is important if you want to be a high level athlete. The best players have practiced so often that it’s just repetition to them. Have the mentality to work hard. You can get away with talent at lower levels but at the highest levels you must have desire & mentality.

Only people and businesses that make money by placing athletes at JuCo and D3 programs will tell you that JuCo and D3 are better options for an aspiring professional athlete than a Division 1 program. 😂😂😂 Be careful who you take your advice from.

High level athletics can be a huge part of your life. Athletics can shape your dedication, motivation and determination in life. Keep working on becoming the best. You don’t be necessarily have to be THE best but you definitely have to be YOUR best.

Don’t tell kids with dreams of playing pro to compete at D3 level instead of Division 1 for “guaranteed playing time”. Enough with the “guaranteed playing time” nonsense. If he’s talented to make a D1 roster, let him compete for playing time. Stop avoiding the competition.

If you want to be the best, you’re going to have to beat and compete against the best. Both, within your own team and against the opposing teams. If you’re scared to compete against the best and you prefer to play against lower level competition, that says it all.

In the age of NIL you don’t have to be the best player on the field to get brand sponsorship money. You can earn a few or many thousands even if you’re not THE standout player. One thing you must be is someone with high moral & integrity. You must be a good representative.

It should be easy to drive yourself to be great.

When you get to the level you’ve been dreaming of getting to, don’t be surprised by the work it takes to be successful there.

Nick Saben, one of the best coaches of all time, knows what he’s talking about. He has the experience and he’s absolutely correct. Some things in sport are not teachable, you just have it or you don’t. Athletic intuition is one of those things. I call it, having the “sauce”.
