Palestinians deserve so so so much better than the scraps of garbage this party applauds itself for kicking to them. So many leaders relived their trauma this week, bit their tongues, tempered their voices to fight a powerful inside game, and I truly don’t know how they did it.

I listened to this gutting testimony earlier today. After hearing Kamala Harris speak in the passive voice about the suffering in Gaza tonight, I’m feeling that much more haunted by what we know is the reality on the ground, a reality Dr Yousaf had to fight to tears to convey.

A reminder that a month ago, Netanyahu got a king's welcome in Congress, while hostage families were arrested by Capitol Police. The hostages who were killed could still be alive and free. Netanyahu never wanted a deal. Those who gave him time and leverage sealed their fate.
