Great to see Leith/ Newhaven through the (1989) movie lens, courtesy of Tam White film, Wreck On The Highway. I used to drink in The Dakota Bar on Gt Junction Street (now a hairdressers) so it’s bizarre to see it in this light. Note Clare Grogan with Tam at Starbank Park ⭐️

Working at Heriot Watt today & got the chance to stand on its student nightclub stage again: the exact spot where I played my first-ever gig in Edinburgh (Dec 1995). Of course, this was around the time the wheel was invented. Could still smell the 99p-a-pint cider in the place 🤢
