British and American intelligence were right all along. A lot of commentators - including me - thought they were being unduly alarmist. Sadly, they were entirely accurate.

This is a fantastic book. Well written and gives great perspectives on Normandy onwards. I learnt a tremendous amount about the Vickers Medium Machine Guns in it.

All good things come to an end eventually. Today, after almost 33 years, was my final day in the Army. Looking forward to a new civilian role in Abu Dhabi with A T Kearney.

Just bought this cigarette/card case to put my business cards in. Do any of my historian friends have any suggestions on which regiment ‘The Dukes’ might be referring to and who B.I.F. Might be?

I loved reading Gerry McKay’s vivid book on his experiences as an Australian Infantry Platoon Commander in Vietnam. I understand it is quite well known in Australia, but I would also commend it to a wider international audience.

I really enjoyed chairing this panel at the 32nd Australian Institute for Professional Intelligence Officers’ (AIPIO) annual conferences (a fantastic event). Some amazing panelists and great questions from the audience.
